Bits & Pieces and Spilsbury
Bits & Pieces and Spilsbury are two brands owned by Melville Direct LLC. that specializes in puzzles, home and garden products, and gag gifts. I had the opportunity to gain all different experiences during my time at Melville, starting as a Production Assistant, moving up to a Production Artist, and finally transitioning to the web team as a Web Graphic Designer. I had many responsibilities from catalog layouts, package design, copy writing and editing, photoshop and video editing, assisting in photoshoots, social media management, and web and email design.
Catalog Layout Design
I designed the catalog layouts using the different branding guidelines for both Bits & Pieces and Spilsbury.
Package Design
I assisted in package design for puzzle boxes by updating the images and product information using our team’s templates.
Emails & Web Design
I created the visual design of promotional daily emails for both brands and worked with our coding team to ensure that emails were functioning properly. I designed promotional images for our social media accounts and websites, including web banners, instagram and Facebook images, and product images.
